2018-19 Classroom Grants Awarded by RCSD Foundation

Group of teachers recognized for being awarded Partners in Education (P.I.E.) classroom grants for the 2018-19 school year.

The RCSD Foundation is proud to announce the 2018-19 Partners in Education (PIE) grant recipients. These grants help support innovative and cutting-edge programs and curriculum in our district's classrooms. Pictured at left are teachers being recognized at the RCSD Board of Trustees meeting on Thursday, October 4.

Partners in Education (PIE) promotes innovation in the classroom through teacher, grade-level and academic department grants. Every year teachers from all school sites submit grant proposals designed to inspire and motivate their students and advance the use of cutting edge curriculum.

PIE Grants provide a financial resource to teachers for innovative academic and enrichment programs which emphasize STEM learning (science, technology, engineering, and math). These grants go directly into the classroom, providing students with hands-on, experiential learning opportunities that reinforce curriculum.
